Welcome to our home!

La Belle Cour offers chambres d’hôtes in a traditional village house situated in the centre of Céreste, which is part of the Luberon Natural Park in Provence in the south of France. The house with its secluded and cool courtyard provide a haven in a busy village.

When you stay as a chambre d'hôte guest at La Belle Cour you stay very much "en famille". In the summer, breakfast is usually taken at the large table in the courtyard and can be served any time between 8am and 10am. The delicious smells that waft in from the bakery and patisserie next door ensure that you have a good appetite and can do justice to their lovely French bread, croissants, pain au chocolat and brioche. Fresh fruit in season and yoghurt are also usually available.

We are always delighted to welcome your dogs as long as they`re well trained and sociable as we have a young female dog called Poppie. We also have two cats.

If you would like to read some comments from previous visitors to our chambre d'hôte, you can find these also on the website.

Summer comes to Céreste!

It`s very strange but any local person here will tell you that after 15th May the weather will improve and there will be no more frosts.  It always works.  We`ve been having a really wet and cold spring but suddenly the sun is shining, the clouds have left the sky and it`s warm. The courtyard has been cleared of all the builder`s equipment and is planted up with petunias and geraniums..

What people say!

We have added this to give visitors to our chambre d'hôte a chance to tell you what we are like as hosts. Of course this could seriously backfire but luckily we do have editorial control!! We do promise not to delete those which we feel are honest and constructive.

It is always difficult when choosing your chambre d'hôte for a few days to make certain you book somewhere which is not only well run but also to your taste, so to those people who do not know us and have some questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Before the house was renovated at the beginning of 2000, the previous owners had only occupied the top floor, the rest of the house was made up of barns and animal shelters. The courtyard itself was built by us in 2004 and provides a tranquil setting for summer breakfast.
